CASE FILE · No. 005 · ON THE LINE

12:41am. 'My husband was just pulled over.'

Just before 1am, a woman calls your criminal defense line: her husband was stopped on the way home and taken in. She found your firm on mobile search; the three firms above you in the results all sent her to voicemail. Sara picks up on the first ring. She's steady and clear, and she captures exactly what your on-call attorney needs: the arrest location, the suspected charge, whether he's still in custody or has been released, the caller's relationship and callback number, and whether there's a prior record to flag. She confirms your attorney will call back within twenty minutes and stays on the line long enough to make sure the caller has the number saved. The callback lands in fourteen. By the time the competing firms open at 9am, you've already been retained.

NOTES · No. 005 · FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions on file.

01 Can Sara handle intake for multiple practice areas?
Yes. Sara is configured with separate intake flows for each practice area: personal injury, criminal, family law, estate, and others. The qualifying questions and urgency thresholds adapt accordingly.
02 What about conflict checks?
Sara captures the opposing party names during intake and can route them to your conflict check workflow before the consultation is confirmed. We configure this during setup.
03 Is the call data handled confidentially?
Yes. All intake data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Sara does not store call content beyond what's routed to your intake system. We can execute a data processing agreement.
04 Can Sara screen for case value?
Yes. We configure qualifying criteria for your firm: damages minimums, statute limitations, defendant solvency signals. Sara filters soft leads before they consume your intake attorney's time.
05 How does Sara handle emergency legal matters?
Sara identifies high-urgency situations (arrests, active restraining order violations, custody emergencies) and triggers immediate escalation to your on-call attorney, not a voicemail box.
